April Powder

Decided to head up to grouse on Tuesday night.  The local mountains got dumped on monday with over 50 cm of snow.     As we drove up Capilano road the rain started to pour down. Luckily the temp was cold enough that it was dumping snow up top!   Powder turns in the city in April!!!

Happy Birthday Vancouver

It was Vancouver's 125 Birthday this Wednesday and there was a party.  54-40 rocked the stage, the Olympic cauldron was lite and the grey cup was there!

First Wake Session 2011

I got my first Wakeboarding session in this weekend at Bow Lake in Washington. The lake is a man made private lake with guaranteed glass conditions. It ended up being colder than I was hoping but it was still lots of fun. Luckily there was a hot tub to warm up, check it out at www.waterskiranch.com

Last weekend was a good weekend. Two solid days snow riding on Grouse and Blackcomb.  Photo below is from the top the peak on Grouse Mountain with downtown Vancouver and Stanley park in the back drop. Looking to get on the board again this weekend, oh and a wakeboard!
